We need more Cuban food in Orange County. Thank goodness I have found at least 2 options- one of those being Moros Cuban in La Habra.

Bottom line – Moros is one of my favorite, staple, go-to restaurants in all of Orange County. Seriously. Service is always spectacular (even when the place is literally PACKED out the door), food is always delicious, and it seems like there is always something new on the menu for me to try!

The most important thing you need to know is- GET THE LECHON NACHOS. “Nachos at a Cuban restaurant? Uh no?” – is probably what you are thinking. But trust me, that was my opinion, too, until, my first visit, Tyler (the GM), INSISTED I try them. I am thankful everyday for him introducing these to me. Out of ALL the nachos I have tried (which is a lot), these are my hands-down favorite. House-made cheese sauce. Need I say more?

The empanadas are ALWAYS delicious as well. I have recently discovered my favorite main dish here, and I am going to have a hard time trying any more new items after this… ARROZ FRITO CUBANO. Cuban Fried Rice basically. House made teriyaki sauce that I want to bathe in. I will never eat fried rice elsewhere after trying this.

Everything is divine here. I am ECSTATIC for their new location to be opening anytime now, because it will be much larger and new menu items!!!!!
