Toast is a dream come true. One day I searched “avocado toast” on Yelp and this was the first result… since then I have been DYING to go. Finally, yesterday, the weather was perfect. The rain had ceased and the sun was shining. I could actually wear sandals- so I knew this was the perfect, cheery weather for a place like Toast.I was so right. Seated on the patio in the sunshine, I had one of the best afternoon/meals ever, thanks to the amazing food, and the even more amazing service. EVERY single employee here (many or all family members of the owner) was smiling, making sure I was ok, and just in a good mood. This really means a lot to me, as a customer, and says a lot about a business. 

Everything here is fresh-made, so come early if you want to be sure they have everything you are planning to order! My friends and I tried:

Balsamic Toast : WOW. I thought this would be my least favorite, but it was actually the best (even though they were all good). So much flavor. The perfect combination of ingredients. Reminded me of bruschetta.

Cali Fresh Toast : Simple avocado toast with tomatoes, cilantro, and spices. Light and refreshing. 

Cucumber Toast on Squaw : Ok, I wasn’t going to get this one until it was pointed out to me. It was AMAZING, though! Think of those little cucumber dill sandwiches you get at tea parties… This is reminiscent of that! I loved it! 

Banana Chia Toast : OK, I’m not even a nutella person, but this was an awesome sweeter toast. I would suggest trying at least one sweet toast with your savory, or vice versa!

Bananas Foster Waffle : Holy. Freaking. Moly. This was the best waffle. Ever. My friends and I all agreed on this- no question. I wasn’t even going to order this, or even try it because there was so much other food. Until one of my pals nearly passed out after trying it because it was THAT good. There is no describing the life-changing feeling I got after tasting this waffle. You just have to go do it yourself.
Drinks- Try the Orange Jealousy! It is such a creative, unusual, Orange-bang like drink. Really tasty!

All the avocado tasted SO fresh, like it was literally grown in the backyard. Heck, everything tasted so fresh, clean, and healthy. The breads were all outstanding. I cannot wait to come back. I am in love. I might just live on their patio.
