Every year, my plans for the fourth of July are either very minimalistic, or non-exsistant. This year, however, I was determined to do something fun. Although most of my friends and colleagues had big plans, I was able to round up a few pals to come over for a pool party. This time, however, I didn’t want to be the one doing all the cooking. I wanted to be able to relax, swim, and just enjoy! So I thought to myself… “Who could I trust to provide food that I LOVE at a great price…?” A few places came to mind, but there was only one answer… Stonefire Grill.
If you haven’t seen my several posts and rants about how much I love Stonefire, then just know that it is one of my staple, go-to, always satisfying restaurants. Out of their nine locations throughout Southern California, I have been to 3 : Fountain Valley, Irvine, and Lakewood. The service and food are both ALWAYS consistently awesome – the main reason I keep returning! I love that I can get a fulfilling salad with meat, killer breadsticks, and a drink- all for around $10. Plus, TONS of YUMMY, house-made sauces!
Anyways, back to the event at hand! I called in my order at Stonefire Grill in Irvine for 5 o’clock pickup. When I got there around 5:10, despite all the hustle and bustle and catering orders left-and-right, there were plenty of smiling, ready-to-help team members which gave me confidence that my order would be ready and accurate! Within less then two minutes of paying at the “order ahead” counter, the bags of delicious-ness were
presented before me. Of course, I asked for some extra sauces, and they happily obliged! A couple hours later, it was time to eat. The tomesto pasta I ordered had gotten a little cold, but I was stoked that the container it came in was microwaveable! So convenient! We were all extremely satisfied with everything – as usual! The amount of food we got (there was even leftovers!) for the price was unbeatable. If you love pasta like my pals, the pasta family meal is the way to go. For $18.99, you get a large pasta, a small salad, and 8 breadsticks. Honestly, I wish I had more events to plan so I could get Stonefire catering more often! ( Hint, hint… if you ever need an event planned… hit me up! )

Of course, no party or meal would be complete without dessert. I knew right away that I wanted one of my all-time favorite sweets… CINNAHOLIC!
The Brea store is practically my home away from home. The entire team is stellar, and make the BEST buns around. If you are unfamiliar with Cinnaholic, they are basically the Blaze Pizza of cinnamon rolls. Yes, it is true- cinnamon rolls as your heart desires! Chose your frosting flavor, your toppings, and get ready for a bite of Heaven. The best part about Cinnaholic’s rolls is that they are not overly sweet, make you want to die, sugar overload like Cinnabon. And yep, they do catering! Large Cinnacakes, cookies, OR BABY BUNS! These were the perfect option for my small gathering today.
I am so thankful for freedom, the opportunity to celebrate, and enjoy great food with others. Hope everyone had a FLAG-tastic Fourth of July!
