Back when I lived in Dublin, Ireland, I never felt like there was any good food in terms of eating out, which makes sense because, well, they aren’t really known for their food! So friends and I wouldn’t typically dine out, I’d just cook for everyone. But some nights, sheesh, I was so tired and just wished there was somewhere fun, reasonably priced, and delicious to eat out – especially for special occasions. During my latest trip back, my good friend introduced me to a new spot…: BAH33, the authentic Gaucho BBQ experience.
I was so surprised to learn that there was such a legit Brazilian BBQ restaurant that opened, I knew I had to try it (in fact, my first Brazilian BBQ experience!). For just €55, you get the opportunity to feast until you tap out or pass out on unlimited Irish meats (some of the best quality meat in the world), sides, and salad bar.
To start, potato wedges, garlic bread, Gaucho polenta, and cassava – but don’t worry, you can keep ordering as much as you’d like of these fried goodies as well (which you are certainly going to want to do if you’re like me and love carbs). Help yourself to the salad bar (which also is equipped with Gaucho stewed beans, pampas-style rice and potato salad) and sit back the rest of the night while the super friendly team keeps the meats coming! Servers keep coming by your table running through all of the following…:

Personally, I was ADDICTED to the bacon-wrapped filet and…. the PORK BELLY. Oh. My. Gosh. I had to force myself out of there before I went into cardiac arrest from pork belly overload…. Crispy skin on-top (think chicharrones) and melt-in-your-mouth, juicy pork, sliced to perfection, and topped with lime (if you prefer)…. Are you drooling yet?!!?!?!?? I can’t even admit how many times I ordered more…
When you finally feel like you can never look at meat again, take a little nap, then get ready for dessert, and there is quite a delicious variety to choose from! My absolute favorite was the brownie! I definitely needed a sweet treat after my meat overload!
BAH33 was a great experience, thanks to the fun, food, and extremely kind team members who cater to every guest and every need. Whether you want more of one meat, a photo, a particular way of slicing, or another drink, they are all more than willing and ready to serve. For the price, the BAH33 Gaucho experience is extremely worth it – especially if you can pack in a lot of meat (or carbs hehe). I’m so happy that Dublin finally has a fun, unique, and reasonable dining option for special occasions or just a good dinner.
