OK, one of my FAVORITE restaurants in all of Southern California is hands-down Square One Pizza Cafe. Hidden in the back corner of one of your typical Irvine shopping centers, Sq. 1 is owned/operated by husband and wife, Kyle and Liz. The couple had always worked in the restaurant industry, but wanted to open their own place… Finally, their dream came true, and Square One was opened!

Square One is known for their “square” thin-crust pizzas, but they offer so much more… Sandwiches, pastas, salads, WORLD’s BEST french fries, and AMAZING house-made salad dressings… You honestly cannot go wrong with anything. Everything is simplistic, but SO good and SO fresh. It literally feels like I am eating at home whenever I am here. I am typically not a thin-crust pizza person, but this is some of my favorite pizza ever. As for their fries and house-made salad dressings…- I was SO surprised to find the BEST of the BEST here at this little pizza-joint. Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable, and they offer Happy Hour: Monday- Friday 3 to 6 pm and Saturday 11 am to 4 pm.
